This is a heartfelt pray from a woman entrepreneur, Sobha Reddy, who runs an advertising agency in Hyderabad, Telangana.

24hours since she came on social media exposing a Congressman who asked her to come to his farm house and entertain him or at least go for a 15 minute drive in his BMW to take care of his needs.

She is mother of three kids, trying to establish her business and this is what she faced at the Telangana Secretariat.

Absolute shamelessness!!!

She is not telling the name of the person purely out of fear. The man is a close associate of the Chief Minister. She has proofs and is willing to share everything with the @TelanganaCMO @revanth_anumula

Her fears are justified considering the kind of vilification she is being subjected to since she came out yesterday. They even pulled out a very old FIR and tried to sidetrack the allegations.
Absolutely disgusting.

Harassment, exploitation and assault is not always visible, not always caught on camera. It is not always black and white like the Bihar incident. There is a lot that exists in the grey and happens in power corridors by men who aren’t wearing lungis & carrying away young girls.

Sometimes it will be a man in a BMW, who threatens a young mother to bow down or go out of business. He will use his connection with the CM and try to silence his victim.

I loved the - “Smash The Patriarchy” slogan of Rahul Gandhi. It is catchy, and has a nice ring to it.

But slogans alone cannot empower people, if women are harassed in the secretariat by powerful people - and no one bats an eye!!!!
