In commemoration of the #WorldSoilDay, we have held a practical session with small-scale farmers in Masaka on soil management techniques in the community and showcased practical proper soil management methods.
Yesterday we concluded our week-long Evaluation Workshop of our Farmer Field Schools on PPB and local food plants.
Participants came from 6 districts where the @sdhsprogram is being implemented.

Together with @pelum_uganda, @OxfaminUganda, and different stakeholders on the @sdhsprogram, we are currently having our National End of Season Evaluation Workshop in Kampala. We are assessing the performance of the farmer field schools focusing on participatory plant breeding.
This week we have been strengthening 4 established Community #Agroecology Schools in Adjumani, Gulu, Apac and Amuria districts. These are community based learning centers where farmers challenge themselves to address issues that limit Agroecological production.
