@boardyai just took the reins as CEO of Ivy Energy, helping multifamily owners monetize solar and energy assets through tenant billing. Boardy Pro would be huge for this
@mobileraj I thought your point was going to be that you want one agent to represent you on all these media. But what do I know, I’m the guy on #LinkedIn
@mobileraj Long term super unpredictable. Short term the OS / browser vendors have an opportunity to control the sphere exactly because AI won’t do everything and the user will still want to choose, manipulate, browse etc.
Voice will be THE critical ‘front door’ for the next gen of the AI powered internet. Voice (and text) will work across more modes of the useful internet than any other mode alone (including images).
It stands to reason, then, that if Apple with all of their cash and engineering prowess has to rely on a third party (Google or OpenAI) to provide the AI powered interface for iOS (per reporting this morning), a few things are true:
1. On the heels of giving up on cars, this is them giving up on AI. And giving up on AI is essentially like giving up all together.
2. Apple is at increased risk of getting hollowed out over time where the best engineers start to leave in disappointment. This will eventually flow into product quality, upgrade cycles, revenues and profits.
3. It’s an unsound business decision.

To all international observers concerned about the water supply in Gaza:
The time to speak up was when Hamas dug up Gaza’s water pipes to turn them into missiles against Israeli civilians.
@DrStarson I’ve just had a CEO who’s never built one ML model in his life explain to me how easy it will be to pivot his company to AI now because… his seed investor demands it. Use case? Competitive moat? Who needs them.
Contrarian opinion.
VCs are pouring billions into LLMs and Gen AI startups. My bet is that this will fuel amazing revenue growth of NVDA, GOOG, and MSFT, but the actual companies raising the money will end up becoming WebVans of the AI hype cycle.
