Maldives to get PayPal this year, but the main bank can’t even process a basic Microsoft office subscription because of USD shortage banks own blanket policy on daily limit for foreign transactions.

The irony is you can’t really celebrate this win neither be too excited, cause what good is PayPal if there’s no dollars to move 🤷‍♂️.

While Visa, Mastercard, Stripe and rest of the world is moving towards stablecoins, I reckon we’d catch up in fintech in maybe 10 years. Question is, will it still be delta neutral by then?
