So heartwarming to see the students at Kinisya Primary School enjoying their new classrooms, funded by the Elementary Educators Humanity Fund and the desks and chairs funded by the ETFO Limestone Local and Limestone OT Locals. Oh, and the Uganda teachers got desks too!
This is a planning meeting in Kenya for an upcoming kitchen project in the Siaya District. School kitchens provide daily nutrition for the students who attend.
Yesterday, I visited the Nyakeina Parentsโ Primary School in Uganda where CanAssist recently funded the construction of a new dining/exam hall. Once completed this building will also serve as a classroom and events room.
Another great CanAssist success story. The students at Ming-Awo Primary School in Kenya now have access to more clean water from the additional water tank that has been installed. This project was made possible by a generous grant from the Southgate Presbyterian Church.
Today we will start a number of new projects which reflect educational and medical needs as well as food insecurity in northern Uganda. We will update you as time progresses.
Excited to report that construction of a school kitchen has started at the Uthanya School in Kenya. This project is possible due to the generous donation of @johnageddes some of his friends, combined with matching funds from Richard Frank and the Bulmash-Siegel Foundation.
