ఏడీబీ రోడ్డుపై ప్రమాదంలో యువకుల మృతి బాధాకరం

కాకినాడ – రాజమహేంద్రవరం నగరాల మధ్య ఉన్న ఏడీబీ రోడ్డు ఛిద్రమైపోయింది. గత అయిదేళ్ళల్లో ఈ రోడ్డు గురించి పట్టించుకోలేదు. పాడైపోయిన ఈ రోడ్డును బాగు చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ దశలో ఏడీబీ రోడ్డుపై చోటు చేసుకున్నా ప్రమాదంలో ఇద్దరు యువకులు దుర్మరణం పాలయ్యారని తెలిసి ఆవేదనకు లోనయ్యాను. కాకినాడ జిల్లా గైగోలుపాడుకు చెందిన శ్రీ ఆరవ మణికంఠ, శ్రీ తోకాడ చరణ్ శనివారం రాత్రి ద్విచక్రవాహనంపై ఇళ్లకు వెళ్తున్నారు. బైక్ మీద వెళ్తున్న ఆ యువకులను వేగంగా వస్తున్న వాహనం ఢీ కొట్టడంతో ప్రమాదం చోటు చేసుకుంది. ఆ యువకులు మృతి చెందారు. శ్రీ మణికంఠ, శ్రీ చరణ్ కుటుంబాలకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి తెలియచేస్తున్నాను.
కాకినాడ – రాజమహేంద్రవరం నగరాల మధ్య ప్రయాణానికి ఎంతో కీలకమైన రహదారి ఏడీబీ రోడ్డు. గత ప్రభుత్వం ఈ రోడ్డును విస్తరణ, పునర్నిర్మాణం గురించి పట్టించుకోలేదు. కనీస నిర్వహణ పనులు కూడా చేపట్టలేదు. సరైన విద్యుత్ దీపాలు కూడా లేవు. ఫలితంగా ప్రమాదాలు పెరిగాయి. అయిదు నియోజకవర్గాల ప్రజలకు ఎంతో ఉపయోగపడే రోడ్డు ఇది. రెండు నగరాల మధ్య ప్రయాణాలకు కోసం ప్రజలు ప్రత్యామ్నాయ రోడ్లు మీద వెళ్తున్నారు. కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం ఏడీబీ రోడ్డు పనులు చేపట్టింది. ఈ దశలో చోటు చేసుకున్న ప్రమాదం బాధాకరం. ఈ ప్రమాదంలో మరణించిన యువకులు గేమ్ ఛేంజర్ ప్రీ రిలీజ్ వేడుక నుంచి తిరిగి ఇళ్లకు వెళ్తున్న సమయంలో దుర్మరణానికి గురయ్యారు. ఇళ్లకు సురక్షితంగా వెళ్ళండి అని ఆ వేడుకలో ఒకటికి రెండుసార్లు చెప్పడమైంది..
జనసేన పార్టీ తరఫున మృతుల కుటుంబాలకు రూ.5 లక్షలు చొప్పున ఆర్థిక సాయం అందిస్తాము. ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి తగిన సహాయం అందించే ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని నా కార్యాలయ అధికారులకు స్పష్టం చేశాను. ఇక నుంచి పిఠాపురం నియోజక వర్గ పర్యటనలకు ఏడీబీ రోడ్డు మీదుగానే రాకపోకలు సాగించాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాను.
