friendly reminder that if you don’t like the way certain artists draw characters because it doesn’t fit your personal preferences/isn’t “canon” enough, the best solutions are:
- IGNORE art you don’t like
- hype art you DO like
- CREATE what you wish to see
im actually confused when everyone say this is unhealthy or dont do this. LIke I had been like this since i was born probably 2 years old i guess i can remembered clearly seeing myself as third person with game ui like that its very vivid and I feel just fine just detached
Life stops being painful when you stop seeing your body as yourself and start viewing it as just an instrument to interact with the real world. You also start to be just an observer, rather than an active participant, that's pretty awesome.
Very common, nothing wrong with you. Beginner artists draw for the fun of the process regardless of end results, advanced artists draw despite the process FOR the end results. Ask yourself this; what do you want to show that will be worth going thro the process of creating it?
IDC about TADC on any level, but I'm really intrigued by this concept of "True Self".
To the left, the "Truest Self" is the actualization of one's personal vision of the self. There's no distinction between what you want and what you are.
whenever a villian protagonist doesn't work fans try to defend em like "you would never be able to handle BrBa or Bojack Horseman" and it just doesn't work because those shows and MC are well written, if anything watching those show make you realize how garbage is your blorbo.
