This is Modi's India wherein Hindu extremists can beat a poor Dalit woman, film it, & laugh for all to see ! I ask Allah to guide this woman to Islam. And I ask Allah to punish each & every participant in this heinous crime & not to let a single one of them get away
I am really feeling blessed after being nominated for the Asian Media Awards .Thanks Mobeen Butt and more importantly all the interviewees without whom none of this would have been possible.https://t.co/3fCP8C5tn6

Morning everyone,
I would like to share a new BBC podcast series I have been working on. It’s called Yorkshire’s Asian Cricket.
It’s dedicated to the pioneers who first came to Britain.#cricket#migration#yorkshirecricket#ECB#yccc

I was born and brought up in Yorkshire. Back in the 70’s the people who used the P word chased us off cricket pitches, and told us to go back home.
50 years later nothing seems to have changed.
Soooooooo excited I’m joining the team on @Channel4@PackedLunchC4 as a new Lunchmate 2mrw.
Can’t wait. Have missed the excitement and atmosphere of live TV; you can’t beat it.
My pledge to only wear #zerowaste clothes remains. But so many to choose from!

When you leave this world, your mansions, cars and all the wealth you may have possessed will not be remembered by people. But what people will remember is how kind you were, how good your character and manners were. Be good to people, you will be remembered more for your kindness
As @pakistancricket gears up to take on @englandcricket in a three-match test series this week, on #Indus we find out more about the highly-anticipated games which start in #Manchester on Wednesday. @TalatFarooqAwan and @NasserHanif are sad they won't be there, unlike last time.
Highlight from today’s press conference: no regrets on testing. And we were very ‘successful’ at the containment stage apparently. Though not at actually containing it of course
When even Saudi Arabia asking people to offer Namaz at home, it’s hard to fathom why our religious leaders forcing it to be in mosques. Also illogical thing is to stop people over 50 years from coming to mosque when 80 per cent of Namazis are over 50!
