@zanneslaw@rxggietan Amazing! Congratulations! Currently in the process of investing in a commercial space that is being converted into a Co-working space. Great to see your announcement!
The most important part of Rick Rubinโs ideology is: trust your ears and only your ears
A song is not good because it follows music theory, itโs good because your ears like it
Lyrics are not good because of the meaning behind them, theyโre good because of how you feel when you hear them
An app is not good because the code is clean, but because it feels great to use
An visual element is not centered because itโs mathematically centred, itโs centred because your eyes perceive it as centred
A logo is not good because of the logic behind it, but because of how it makes you feel
A painting is not good because it was difficult to make, it is good because your eyes like it
No creative work is ever good because of logical, thought out reasons. Itโs only good if you directly experience it as good.
Great, succinct and multi-pronged overview.
I wonder if OpenAi needs to become a Benefit Corporation and design/iterate its governance model within it...๐ค
Makes sense. I called this during last year's OpenAI debacle.
"ChatGPT-maker OpenAI is working on a plan to restructure its core business into a for-profit benefit corporation that will no longer be controlled by its non-profit board, people familiar with the matter told Reuters, in a move that will make the company more attractive to investors."

AI is moving so fast that the VC model of capital deployment may be too slow. Startups themselves may need to become the โedge computeโ for capital deployment. When new opportunities arise overnight, companies will use the incredible leverage of AI to capture them almost immediately.
Running a company may start to look more like trading than executing on a longterm roadmap.
So many interesting artists get pushed out of the industry today: they either canโt abide the conformity required or donโt want to compromise integrity for more success.
This is why decentralized systems (ex: the internet) that can bypass the industry are a lifeline for artists.
"Can We Talk" is not Tevin Campbell's best song
Tamia is criminally underrated
Miguel is one of the best male R&B artists of the 2010s
Fantasia's catalog is underrated
Thank you! @stenback is the awesome UX designer and @mitchellhynes built the rewind.
I got into this because one day my small business got a legal bill that took out half the cash in our bank account. ๐. My co-founder Dan (pictured in video) went to law school and was really disappointed at the reality of practice.
We launched the first v of Spellbook in 2022 and have been trying to eliminate a lot of drudgery ever since! Now have 2500 firms onboard, so we keep busy making them happy!
Meet Spellbook Associate: The first AI Agent for law
Two years ago we launched the first GenAI copilot for lawyers. We had no idea it would now be used by 2,500+ legal teams!
Today we're launching the first full-fledged agent that can break down legal projects into plans, execute work across multiple documents and apps, review its work and re-plan as needed.

The real question is what will they do with those โsavedโ hours? If simply more things that need no legal judgment (much of the billable activity of today) then itโs not really progress towards customer-focused #DeliveredValue
