@Uber_Canada SHAME on your driver who just refused to turn into my elderly parents driveway (and they use assistive devices) on a busy residential street. When they asked if he could for their safety he said to find another ride and drove off.
@breakfasttv First let’s raise Toronto property taxes to be the same as those of us who can’t afford to live in Toronto (I’m in Hamilton) so they can start paying for and improving all the services they do use on the daily and make transit a safe and reliable way in and around the city
@breakfasttv Absolutely not, make transit the safer, faster, more affordable way into the city and THEN consider tolls, but we’re a LONG way away from that
@devobrown@breakfasttv@Sid_Seixeiro I disagree with the idea of a toll to come in the city. Until we improve our transit system and make it safe it’s an unrealistic option.
@KiSS925 had to search through the #rozandmocha podcasts for @rozweston chicken wing recipe, found it, so worth it! Turned out awesome for #SuperBowlSunday dinner. Won’t make them any other way.
@TimHortons my hot chocolate from your location near Safari Niagara was so watery when I got home and poured it in a glass I could see through it 🤮🤦♀️
@CTVToronto How the hell is the living wage for Hamilton the same as rural communities, has anyone seen the cost of housing around here? It’s the same as Halton.
@breakfasttv This variant is so rampant and rapid tests are so inaccurate you’re surrounded by it anyway. My highest risk of getting COVID is off my son in daycare and I can’t avoid that so ♀️
@DinaPugliese@breakfasttv yesss! I work for the Ontario government and you know what’s even more hilarious? We’re being asked to go back yet we’re not allowed to meet in person yet. We need to still call in via zoom from our desk. Makes no sense.
@breakfasttv the situation I’m seeing at Fairview mall is unacceptable. This isn’t for the new iPhone this is peoples health. Line should be indoors and cut off at the 1000th kit mark. Don’t let hundreds more line up in vain.
@breakfasttv no, salaries weren’t keeping up with the cost of living so while expenses go down without the cost of commuting, people might be able to finally start catching up financially and not living pay cheque to pay cheque.
