@JeffFcb14 The NFL champion being called a world champion comes from cigar chomping beat reporters in the '20s trying to draw interest in the new league. Like early wrestling, "world champion" paints a larger than life picture for the reader, and it stuck. Nothing more, nothing less.
@geoffschwartz This sucks butt. Speaking of cookie cutter eras, these are still an improvement over the Silverdome, Metrodome, Edward Jones Dome, Georgia Dome, RCA Dome ... (Lucas oil was done right)
@SkolGeek@BruceEdmunds@NFL I will level with you, the center is the only player allowed to approach the LOS (front point) but any other player over the back point of the football is in the neutral zone imo.
@SkolGeek@BruceEdmunds@NFL I understand your interpretation of the rules but to say the Center's helmet establishes the LOS is incorrect. The front point of the football establishes the LOS and both front and back points of the football create the neutral zone.
@brownc74@SkolGeek@BruceEdmunds@NFL If the NFL wants to allow the play, then whatever, strap em' up. What bothers me is the distinction between the LOS and the neutral zone being situational apparently.
So the Brewers score 6 in game 1. Then, the hottest team in baseball, drops a goose egg on free hamburger day? Then score 10 runs the next day? Investigate @George_Webb
@LumpyPumpkinz@PeriwinkleID@AkaPaulHoward Yeah a dude from Switzerland won the individual award, Oregon seems to have a decent cheddar, but at the end of the day it's just not a competition because cheese curds, goodnight sir
