Here’s @jt_english saying something needed. It’s possible to have too high a view of the sermon. Such a view exacerbates the expert-amateur divide so many have been discipled into: experts on platforms present lectures to amateurs in pews. /1
@pj_schreiner Yes. I feel similar. I’ve made the transition to audiobooks almost exclusively - with a two day break for a small list of curated podcasts in between.
