Forget everything you know about what a 3D printer can do. This is about what you can do for your home.
The Bambu Lab A2L takes everything from the iconic A1, packs more capabilities, and scales it to 320mm.
• Large enough for modular furniture.
• Precise enough for leather and fabric cutting using its interchangable modules.
• Simple enough to run with a single push of a button.
Check out how @swedishmaker used the A2L to custom design his office setup.
What would you use the A2L to build for your space? 🛋️💡

I've seen a few people trying to defend @BambulabGlobal's bullying of an open source developer over completely legal AGPL code use...
Now @conservancy is raising funds to stop companies like Bambu Labs from abusing the AGPL and open source devs: https://t.co/bGDJUC6whp
‼️🚨 BambuLab printers are catching fire and melting due to a hardware issue. The fault lies in the NTC thermistor.
Many users on Reddit have reported this issue, and now @GamersNexus is offering to buy one so he can do an analysis.
1. It's specifically the Bambu Lab A1 model.
2. The NTC thermistor in question sits on the AC power board, where it limits inrush current. It is not the hotend or nozzle thermistor.
This soft robotic tentacle, designed by YouTuber It's On My Mind, was printed as a single part on a Formlabs Form 4 resin 3D printer using Silicone 40A. Soft robotics engineers use 3D printing and Silicone 40A to create complex internal geometries - like pressure channels - printed in one piece, with no molds or post-assembly engineering required. When pressurized, those internal chambers steer the tentacle in any direction.

Interesting article from @sevencycles:

They argue carbon fiber is the dominate bicycle frame material not because it’s better, but because it’s easier to market visually distinct shapes.

Virtually no waste? 🤔 #PRUSAxINDX
🐜 Only 13 milligrams pellet extruded per tool-change - 1/5th of the previous industry best! ✅
♻️ Pellets are molded to be directly usable in filament extruder for easy recycling - this is final cherry on top of our 10! year long quest for solving the wastefulness of multi material 3D printing ✅
💉 The extruder is fully primed outside of the print area with back-pressure same as during print - eliminating the need for prime tower with full print quality ✅
INDX and the new priming/wiping system were the unlocks. Interesting fact: pellet is formed in one cycle but ejected form the mold in the next after fully cooling down 💡
And people call us crazy for making super efficient 8 tool-changing 3D Printer 😇 This is everyday viable only on the CORE One INDX with it's 13 milligrams of waste per tool change. On everything else it is a wasteful specialty 🗑️
🔩Built by Makers. Powered by Snapmaker U1.
At RAPID + TCT, our Super User Jonathan showcased his SnapMates, a new fastener from the Snapmaker community that utilizes the U1’s multi-toolhead technology to print with flexible and rigid filaments in a single print.🔒
It’s a small idea with big impact — turning everyday components into something smarter, faster, and more efficient.💡
This is what happens when makers rethink the basics.🤝
