We are more divided than all of us want, but divisions can be overcome - given political will and commitment to integration. As the @Nationalconvers on Immigration showed, most people have moderate views. Easy to reify/talk up divisions and be gloomy
It was striking in @Nationalconvers how much a few big firms - Amazon and Sports Direct - had profoundly affected (damaged) local attitudes, creating micro-climate of much more sceptical attitudes than elsewhere.
