AL now supports using Option Access syntax (names) in formula properties in #MSDyn365BC 2022 release wave 2. This removes the need for the hard-coded integer ID values and improves the readability and the maintainability of the code 👏https://t.co/BErHLssVkc
@ChrisBraeunlich @steveendow All tests in AL using ATT. Tests plans communicated via acceptance criteria on work item in Azure DevOps. Tests executed when pull request is created and again on commit to main branch.
@pi____b__ch_t@MVPKine as long as you keep your release timeline matching Microsoft's and you only release breaking changes at major platform time (April/Oct), you're more or less ok, but yes it is a definite constraint. PS.....we also follow the same pattern as you 🙃
@KennieNP Finally had the chance to install and look at this after wanting to for a while. All I can say is WOW, this is incredible information.......and also "thanks(?)" for all the new technical debt for our backlog!? :P

@waldo_3dp Is it coming off the bed during the print or wobbling due to the height and skinniness? Could try a raft as last resort but it leaves an incredibly nasty finish to the face that's on the raft. Not bad if you don't see that face in the final build though.
I've released a new version of my AZ AL Dev Tools extension with new file/project commands: Remove Unused Variables, Add Missing Parentheses, Convert Object Ids to Names. They don't need code analyzers and together with other commands can make your code look better #msdyn365bc
“Universal Code” couldn’t describe it a better way: all code you write, should be able to live in the cloud. Anything else isn’t worth your time.
Life can be simple… 🤪

@nibmike Lotsa great stuff! I'm not a fan though of the new help search. As an isv that has built their own online help integrated with the Microsoft content, this is going to take users to the Microsoft site and adds confusion why all other help links go to our site. 😓
It's now live! You can install AL Object ID Ninja from Visual Studio Code marketplace.
