The life of Zartosht Ahmadi-Raghebi is in danger.
This political prisoner in Iran who was a firefighter and jailed for signing an open letter asking for the resignation of the late Ali Khamenei has spent years in jail.
His activism in support of fellow prisoners, and opposition to the death penalty has led to increased prison terms and long stints in solitary confinement.
Now he's being kept without basic amenities.

Upon his return he was arrested and now sentenced to death.

Ali Pishevarzadeh, known as Ali Ostad, a 28-year-old athlete from Rasht, champion swimmer, water polo player, and lifeguard, who was arrested on the evening of January 9, 2025, while closing his café in Rasht's market after being beaten, remains under a death sentence in Lakan Prison in Rasht.

According to a recent IranWire report, Ali's trial in the Rasht Revolutionary Court branch lasted only about five minutes, the exact charge has not yet been officially announced, and it is unclear whether he had access to his chosen lawyer. State media previously aired a video titled "Confessions" attributing the burning of a mosque, bank, courthouse, insurance office, and clinic to him; however, in the same video, he does not confirm these claims.

Human rights sources report torture to extract forced confessions and signs of physical injury on his body.

Executions in Iran continue at an alarming rate, despite international condemnation. These are crimes against humanity.

Meet one of the architects of tyranny in Iran
Judiciary chief Eje'i greenlit and promoted executions following the massacre of 45,000 + protesters in January this year.
The result?
More state sanctioned murders of young protesters - many still in their teens.
Now with the economy in shambles, inflation sky high and a worthless currency he's promoting even worse if anyone dares protest a lack of living standards or freedom.
The international community moved on far too quickly from the worst modern day massacre the world has experienced, and the ongoing massacre of Iran's youth remains largely ignored. It's a stain on humanity to stand with the oppressor, rather than the oppressed.

It's hard to know what to say. It's hard to keep going with these posts. Does anyone read them?

I feel like I'm screaming into the void. But I'd rather do that, than to watch silently. I scream with rage that so many of my compatriots' lives are not worth talking about by so many.

Tonight I'm writing about ten young people sentenced to death because of their participation in protests against a horrible regime. They protested against evil.

The evil will lie and say they did things they didn't. They torture them. Then the evil takes their lives.

This is the story of 16 young protesters arrested during the January 2026 nationwide protests in Esfahan, Iran.

10 have been sentenced to death, including two women - the other six to long jail terms - all as a group. They weren't given access to lawyers of their choice and were coerced and tortured to confess.

The case, known as the “Esfahan Shohada Square” case, stems from protests and clashes in and around Shohada Square in Esfahan in January.

The charges? “moharebeh,” “destruction of public property,” “assembly and collusion against national security,” and “propaganda against the regime.” Basically, protesting.

While words of condemnation are acknowledged - it's not enough. Perpetrators of these crimes against humanity must be brought to trial in human rights courts - even in absentia. Regime officials and their families must not be given the opportunity to migrate and enjoy life in freedom and comfort. A tangible price has to be paid.

The state sanctioned murders being committed are in the open and not hidden. Why is everyone so quiet?

He's 26 years old and had a curtain selling business in Tehran. While returning from work, he was arrested. He was later released due to a lack of evidence of any wrongdoing.

Despite having no links to any group, or participating in protests, he's been sentenced to death and this sentence has been confirmed. The fabricated charge is 'espionage'.

Now this 26 year old with his life ahead of him has been moved to Ghezel Hesar prison where execution sentences are usually carried out.

His life is in grave danger.

🚨 A final visit should never become a final goodbye.

Amirhossein Safari’s sister has urgently asked the public to raise his name after the family was reportedly summoned to see him for a “final visit.” This warning must be treated with the utmost seriousness: his execution may be imminent.

Amirhossein is 27 years old, the sole provider for his family, and a person living with a severe physical disability. Following a serious accident, nerve damage near his cervical spinal cord reportedly left one of his hands without normal sensation or practical function. Yet the authorities ignored his medical condition and the supporting documents and sentenced him to death in connection with the Alikhani Square case in Isfahan.

He has reportedly been held in the security ward known as “Alef-Ta,” while being denied phone calls and access to fresh air. His family now fears that the sentence has entered the execution stage and that they may be seeing him for the last time.

This is a race against time. A young man’s life must not be taken in silence, and his sister’s desperate appeal must not go unanswered.
