Today, Rwanda Water Resources Board (RWB), in collaboration with @UN_Water, kicked off a four-day National Workshop on #SDG6 Monitoring.

“Achieving SDG 6 requires more than data; it demands collaboration, innovation, and shared accountability,” emphasized EC @rnyirishema.

#SDG6 seeks to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030.

Today, #RWB & @AfDB_Group launched a $9 million grant project to reduce flood risks and enhance climate resilience for vulnerable communities in Western Rwanda.

The project "Nature-Based Flood Adaptation to Increase Community Resilience in the Western Part of Rwanda", will deploy ecosystem-based solutions to address recurrent flooding, soil erosion, and land degradation in high-risk watersheds of @RusiziDistrict and @KarongiDistr Districts.
