My therapist said: Legitimately self-compassion is the biggest mental health life hack of all time. I'm NOT talking about self-esteem. You do NOT have to like yourself one bit. You don't have to believe that you're a good person who deserves good things. You just have to
As a woman who has big emotions and feels everything deeply, one of the best things I’ve ever done for my sanity is building internal safety. And if you’re just like me, I’ll wholeheartedly recommend doing the same because I promise you, it changes everything!
Here’s exactly how to get started:
@muthoni_njakwe Lord, our strength has been worn thin by the week, by deadlines, by responsibilities, by simply showing up day after day.
Restore what's been depleted. Let this be a day where we exhale, where we recover, where we remember what it feels like to not be running on empty.
@Nyambuscov_ Too much self awareness can be debilitating. We’ve become so emotionally and socially hyper vigilant that authenticity now feels risky. Relationships, friendships, work... everything now gets trapped in endless analysis instead of simply being lived
Dear God,
Thank You for the gift of this day and for the strength to see it. We are grateful for life, for provision, and for the steady way You sustain us each day.
As we go through today, we ask for Your guidance over our thoughts and actions. Give us wisdom in our decisions, and help us to walk in discipline and integrity. Where there is uncertainty, bring clarity. Where there is distraction, bring focus.
Bless the work of our hands. Let our efforts be fruitful and meaningful. Help us to carry our responsibilities well and to act with care in all that we do.
Watch over us and our families. Keep us safe, steady, and grounded in You throughout the day. We receive this day with gratitude, humility, and dependence on You.
In Jesus’ name we pray
Success isn't built on individual brilliance alone; it thrives on the collective power of a dedicated team. ✨

I’m definitely developing my “have fun anyways” skills. The older you get, fun has to be a decision. Something will always go wrong, surprise expenses pop up, people’s mood around you will be horrible, you get tired, there will always be an inconvenience, but… HAVE FUN ANYWAYS.
I think people with a very close knit family can sometimes struggle to form friendships. Their family make up the bulk of their friends and they feel great comfort in that sense of security. Making external friends can be a source of anxiety and a step out of their comfort zone.
Kids aren’t responsible to know how to navigate their parents tempers, mood swings, and/or bad days. If you grew up thinking otherwise, this could be a key indicator to why you feel overly responsible for other people’s well-being while unknowingly neglecting your own.
And when you pray tonight..pray for generational prosperity. May we win together with our families and those who come after us. Let success run in our bloodline and break those generational curses. Winning is great but winning with those close to your heart is priceless.
My colleagues' alarm went off today at a clients meeting. (she's GenZ btw)
Client: What is the alarm for?
Colleague: It's just a gratitude alarm to always remind myself I'm still alive.
