Mexico imported nearly 1 billion bushels of U.S. corn in 2025.
Strong export demand at this level continues to support corn prices and overall market stability.
The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement is a vital trade deal that farmers can’t afford to lose.
Speaking in one unified voice, agricultural and industrial leaders in all three countries reaffirm this commitment and urge its renewal. Read the letter at https://t.co/ePdWG0n23B @USTradeRep

Farmers, ranchers, and ag workers have some of the toughest jobs in the country. Right now, a struggling farm economy is making life even harder – and it weighs heavily on the minds of those who feed and fuel our nation. That’s why I introduced a resolution that designates today—May 29th—as Mental Health Awareness in Agriculture Day and sheds light on resources available for those in need.

Year-round E15 was just authorized by the U.S. House of Representatives - this major win wouldn’t be possible without our grassroots support. As this legislation heads to the Senate, consider joining or renewing your membership with NCGA and your state corn association today to support this legislation that could bring 2.3 billion bushels of demand to U.S. corn farmers. Today was a good day for Nebraska’s corn growers as the House passed @RepAdrianSmith’s Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act bringing America one step closer to year-round E15.
E15 is great for the people of Nebraska. It’s good for the environment and a cheaper option that helps families keep more money in their pockets. The corn used to produce it is grown right here in the Good Life by Nebraska’s hard-working farmers.
I hope the Senate will act to send it to @POTUS’ desk.
Additionally, I announced that Nebraska will be supporting the EPA’s National Fuel Waiver to allow Nebraskans to access E15 this summer while awaiting Senate action.
E15 is a win-win for families in the Cornhusker state. 🇺🇸🌽⛽️
NeCGA is celebrating the passage of the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act today!
“We are one step closer to year-round, nationwide E15,” said NeCGA board president, Michael Dibbern.

Today's bill on E-15 is all about consumer choice:
⛽️Do families want cheaper fuel?
🌽Do Americans want to support our farmers?
🇺🇸Do we want to be energy independent?
America's answer is a clear "YES" on all of these. It is beyond time to pass year-round, nationwide E-15!
