@Bro_Steve1979@MattWalshBlog As a Democrat, I hope that Republicans campaign on this and try to do away with universal suffrage. You'll literally never win another election.
@GeeksGolfers@theariellaleah@NickJFreitas@hopkins_gl32257 We only use published legislative intent if the plain text of the Constitution is unclear. Here, plain text is clear. To do what you want to do is speculative. But in even simpler terms, you lost. Deal with it.
@GeeksGolfers@theariellaleah@NickJFreitas@hopkins_gl32257 Your problem is that what is circled is not part of the Constitution. Rather, it is legislative intent. When plain text and legislative intent are not in concert, we use plain text. If that is not what the 14th Amendment was supposed to mean, Congress should've written it better.
@CFCMods Today, less than one percent of Argentines are black. So there are unlikely to be black people on the team. But once upon a time, there was a much higher percentage of blacks. That's an interesting topic for discussion.
@drcrouchback All kidding aside, I was watching World Cup matches in California four years ago that started at ungodly hours for me. It was actually fun.
@mgdeden@ClayTravis Before the World Cup started, whoever won Group D was set to play whoever finished third in Group B. USA won Group D and Bosnia and Herzegovina finished third in Group B. It's as simple as that.
@RGIII A one-game suspension and an upgrade to a flagrant two is more than adequate. This whole thing is really overblown. I grew up watching the NBA in the 70s and 80s. And I played in rougher games during church league. Just saying.
