Australia just announced another national gun buyback in response to a mass shooting—and if you’ve been paying attention, you already know how this story ends.

After the Bondi attack, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stood at a podium and did exactly what governments always do after tragedy:
blame the public… and take more guns.

But here’s the problem.

Australia already did this in the 1990s.
They banned firearms.
They ran massive buybacks.
They confiscated registered guns.
They promised safety.

And now—decades later—another mass shooting happens.

Even worse? According to witnesses, police were already on scene and took a while to engage.
