👉 @FireblocksHQ now supports the Hedera Token Service (HTS).
Institutions can custody native Hedera tokens directly in Fireblocks, right alongside the assets they already secure. USDC is enabled globally, so it works with no setup.
The @wirenetwork Liquidity Creation Offering goes live tomorrow.
Stake eth or sol and earn Wire tokens from your yield without risking your principal.
The yield will seed liquidity for the mainnet launch of Wire’s Universal Transaction Layer.

Funny how #Hedera’s tech is already faster, greener, and smarter than #Ripple... but hey, the market’s gotta catch up eventually, right?
We expect a wave of cryptocurrency ETFs next year, albeit not all at once. First out is likely the btc + eth combo ETFs, then prob Litecoin (bc its fork of btc = commodity), then HBAR (bc not labeled security) and then XRP/Solana (which have been labeled securities in pending lawsuits) via @JSeyff in his outlook today which you can find here: https://t.co/L3kHeiB1nO
Max, I agree with almost all of your points. Thanks for this. @hedera $HBAR #hbarbarians Beware, multi-paragraph thread. 🧵
Respectfully, I do not agree with the point: "Maybe hedera does not need retail". Even if we get to billions of paid transactions on the network, we will still need retail because we simply don't know how important current Web3 use cases such as Metaverse, Self-Sovereign Identity, Digital Assets, TVL, DeFi, GameFi, RWAs and how much direct Retail participation will be required. We also don't know what new Web3 use cases will emerge and what the impacts of that will be on projects that have the most wallets, accounts, users, etc. A couple of points that I see as risk reduction factors to consider changing that narrative are: 🧵
(1) ATTENTION AWARENESS EFFECT: Ethereum got a lot of attention, community building and awareness building from the ERC-20 ICO craze. Even though many of those projects failed, there was a lot of capital, liquidity, and attention to the project. Solana is now the leading in meme coins. Even though I don't care about meme coins, these factors make Solana show up on everyone's radar including creators, and investors and are giving them an edge in "ability to deploy capital". Solana today has a market cap of $73 Billion and a volume of almost $2B. These are just example projects, we won't get into Meme coins in general.
(2) DECENTRALIZATION, FREE MARKETING AND REPUTATION BUILDING, FUTURE CUSTOMERS, IN-CHAIN LIQUIDITY: Retail investors bring new accounts, wallets, NFTs, DAOS, DeFi resources, Beta Testers to new Web3 consumer facing projects, and resource pools to enable non-permissioned nodes (staking as a proxy). For those building #web3 Dapps or creators, this is a big positive and its a known issue in crypto. Retail also engenders the concept of in-chain liquidity. Retail NFT creators support other degens, DeFi, GameFi, Metaverse, etc creating in-chain liquidity and utility. This is already being quantified by Messari and others. Lunar Crush tracks social engagement metrics and guess who looks at those metrics to see who is winning? CEXs,DEXs, Enterprises, Politicians, Creators, and all investor types. Retail also acts like a marketing, branding, awareness AMPLIFIER and it drastically reduces the cost of marketing for Web3 companies. It also directly contributes to the decentralization principles of a network, and can potentially increase network security by encouraging more decentralized holding of tokens. Free Marketing? Retail provides word-of-mouth, free advertising and sharing of information in a way that is impossible to replicate with traditional marketing and advertising. We have seen this in action with ICOs, Meme Coins, etc. What if some killer app emerges and some big Fortune 10 decides they want to deploy it. What if they look at the metrics (value, users, brand loyalty) to determine which projects have the most retail (users, consumers, customers) as one of the criteria. The tech advantage could keep us in the top decision loop but if someone else has close tech, or can provide the same consensus (Hashgraph is not the end of aBFT consensus engine development, BTW) that could provide a competitive advantage that we don't know the importance of yet becauses its Web3. Its not even here yet. Finally, Web3 VCs look to fund Web3 Dapps and startups within ecosystems that have high liquidity and high numbers of users. This is important since it drives (non-treasury) capital to a project. 🧵
** Additional point. I have been watching the regulatory landscape for a while. I believe that regulators when looking at the issue of decentralization and commodity vs security look at the utility not just in how many large corporations are creating transactions (network usage), but how distributed that is and how many actual users there are. This in the end, might be one of the most important ones.
Finally: If we get massive paid TPS in a timeframe that is reasonable, then retail will come to us because the value will go up and the buzz engines and hype engines will go crazy. I just think counting on that as the sole strategy is very risky in a disruptive industry where its going to unfold without us knowing the timing. it's an emergent, disruptive system. The internal resistance to what every other project knows in "this ecosystem" is very high. Yeah, it's early but it's also late when you see trillion dollar market caps that are going to 20x in the near future.
I hope the sentiment is changing and that positive changes will occur within the @hedera ecosystem based on this type of dialogue and that Retail is given more attention based on understanding. @CharlesXAdkins Cheers
