Compliance is a record of acting on the best information you had.
Fireblocks' Pavle Krivokuća on why Travel Rule compliance gets harder on public rails, where providers don’t talk and jurisdictions disagree.
The travel rule asks institutions to know who sits on each end of a transfer. Banks have done this quietly for decades.
On public rails, with providers that do not talk to each other and jurisdictions defining it differently, it becomes genuinely hard.
In this episode of Stable School, Pavle Krivokuća of @FireblocksHQ on his view that compliance was never a promise to stop every bad transaction, but a record that you acted on the best information you had:

Euronet and @FireblocksHQ are expanding their partnership into stablecoin-funded cards, giving banks and fintechs a white-label product for their own banking or wallet apps.
Euronet’s Ren and CoreCard platforms will handle issuing and processing, while Fireblocks supplies embedded wallets. Customers can spend from a stablecoin balance wherever cards are accepted, with merchants paid in local currency.
Each cardholder receives a wallet at sign-up. Fiat deposits are converted to stablecoins, and users can sign in with existing credentials without a seed phrase or separate crypto app.
The partnership began in October 2025 with settlement and pre-funding for Euronet’s Cross-Border Payments business. Fireblocks says it now handles more than $300 billion in stablecoin volume a month on average.
Vishal Pasari, Vice President of Products & Partnerships at Euronet, said the aim is to “enable our customers to launch innovative card programs across markets” while removing digital-asset and payments complexity.
Ran Goldi, Chief Payments and Network Officer at Fireblocks, said stablecoins combined with global cards “are the ideal off-ramp for digital assets.”
The release cites more than 160 live stablecoin-linked card programs on Visa’s network in fiscal Q2 2026, with payment volume rising nearly 200% year on year.
