What I love about Codex is that I can customize the level of work I want it to handle while still using the frontier models....at a fair cost?? thats crazy

A huuuuugee benefit of GPT-5.6 has been its ability to navigate advanced systems with Computer Use.
It practically learned my CapCut in 30 minutes and is now helping me make youtube quality documentaries. It also learned how to use Rive to create these 3D assets for my eportfolio that showcases some of my recent works
Here's a short clip from my portfolio for some of my porjects its help me built. Its still a work in progress, so a few bugs to tweak, but for a couple prompts that barley brought my usage down, this is insane
@ennyonx@thsottiaux some skill file instruction might say specially to not wrote extra data in reports and stuff if the user is in chatgpt work, only in chatgpt codex it would, usually dev stuff but its usually helpful stuff youd wanna know if your creating. plus you can see diffs

@thsottiaux
#codex #chatgpt #openai
@thsottiaux Implement a /advisor skill framework like Claude has so we can call sol max for planning as the “advisor”. And then use the cheaper Tera or Luna to do the busy work
@rafaelobitten I speculate it’s because of the increase reasoning tokens. It can be same price as 5.5 but spends much more reasoning tokens which are billed as output not input tokens so much more. That plus like you said, it injects a huge rollout summary everytime which could now be bigger
@RhysSullivan I stoped using codex automations, tried everything 3rd party even gemeni, upwork, whatever…now use ChatGPT scheduled tasks and it works like a charm
Codex now supports more of the Windows developer loop.
With Computer use on Windows, Codex can test apps, debug flows, and review work where your project context lives. Codex in the ChatGPT mobile app lets you connect to Windows machines and keep steering from your phone.
