Big Update from National Medical Commission

The NMC has decided to phase out all Post Graduate Diploma courses across India and convert them into MD/MS Broad Specialty Degree courses from the Academic Year 2027-28 onwards.

Key Points:
- Academic Year 2026-27 will be the last year for admissions into any PG Diploma courses.
- No admissions will be permitted to PG Diploma courses from 2027-28.
- All such courses will gradually cease to function.

Medical colleges and institutions can now apply to the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) through the dedicated online portal to convert their existing PG Diploma seats into MD/MS Degree seats.

This step has been taken to standardize postgraduate medical education, improve quality, and align specialist training with modern standards. @NMC_BHARAT

After 20 days of intensive care, the toddler slowly began to recover.
