As we were sitting with @DesmondHoward the news broke of the @CollegeGameDay talent literally getting their sports Emmy’s taken from their homes. Most don’t know that when a show wins a Sports Emmy the on air talent doesn’t receive one. A former ESPN executive figured out a work around, and because of it Desmond HAD a gang of Sports Emmy’s.

In truth the Heisman trophy winner wasn’t moved by the men on tall ladders confiscating his trophies as if to be on a DEA raid. What really hurt him was that the same thing was simultaneously happening at Lee Corso’s home. A man as synonymous with Saturday mornings as kickoffs & tailgates. It was almost enough for Des to break the trophies & send them back in pieces.
