"India was the motherland of our race, and Sanskrit the mother of Europe's languages. Mother India is in many ways the mother of us all." ~ Will Durant
All of these advancements have bought us freedom. We no longer have to live in large households with a lot of family members and rely on a social network to get anything done. So we dont. Sure, that means more people have their own household, which means there's more work managing households.
Since household chores are "easier", it's gotten much more expensive to outsource it. It used to be cheaper to pay someone to do your laundry and press your clothes. There used to be people whose entire job was laundry. Now you do the regular laundry yourself and pay a ton of money for the fancy stuff.
As for childcare, mom's entire job used to be childcare. Now moms do all kinds of work outside the home. The time spent doing direct childcare used to be less, but they were doing wayyyyy more indirect care.
If you're working to the bone making meals and handwashing clothes, you're not actually giving the kids much quality time. You aren't able to delight in their presence or give them the nurture they need. You're not able to set them up to go up a social class or gain skills that you don't have.
Now the parents who want can give their kids a better life. Most do.
The third-order effect of all this is that kids have much fewer adults in their life, but parents don't directly control that. They do what they can with the village they do have.

Indian beaches are beautiful. It's the people who don't keep it that way. A little civic sense would go a long way!!
All pics clicked by me. There are many more pristine beaches....

I have news for you: India's fertility rate dropped below replacement level in ==2017== so there's no need to panic right now. There's probably no need to panic at all. https://t.co/SOP4GKIVbc
Now you all understand the Shi vs. Nong divide. But China's caste system is even more stratified than that, as not all Shi are created equal. Some are born into the most rarified elite cities, while others are stuck at the bottom. If you encounter people claiming that rural Nong Hukou is desirable or that Nong can switch to Shi Hukou, be aware they're talking about the bottom tier.

For all the hate DINKs get, I actually admire them. They have foresight to know that child is a lifelong responsibility- consuming time, money & effort. Be ready for sacrifice.
Know self first before you reproduce.
Otherwise, both the parents & children live miserable lives.
Doctor here. This is bullshit.
But I’ll tell you, a bad sperm causes morning sickness, preeclampsia(high bp), increase risk of miscarriage, premature delivery, anomalies.
So a normal pregnancy is a result of a father’s unseen efforts🥹
3-4 years ago, one of my juniors d£d because her mother-in-law insisted on a normal delivery instead of a C-section. She literally d1ed after giving birth bcos of blood loss.
They didn't sign consent. Her Useless husband couldn't even say a word.
And till the time her parents reached, things went out of control.
Delivery isn't a magical process that needs luck.
Dear women, the choice is yours. If your doctor says that a C-section is necessary, then don't let anyone pressure you into refusing it.
Nope you go to park Avenue, Van Heusen, allen Solly and M&S for the right stuff. They have some really cool options. You are naming the casual wear brands for office wear and that's the problem. Don't you guys wear proper formal shirts, trousers and blazers? I can't think of a single piece of clothing to wear to work in zara and h&m. That's for college kids!!
Yesterday people without vagina were giving Gyan on Normal deliveries. Today people without the skill of peeling potatoes are giving Gyan to the kitchen setup.
Girls, Don't marry if u find no one good but stay clear of these nincompoops.
