@refsupportuk Yeah but players can’t pause the game, have their mates watch the mistake and let them either have another go or decide to carry on with the game and ignore the mistake like it never happened.

@Spike_City @FBAwayDays I go to my local non league team if I can as do many of my friends & games being on tv wouldn’t change that.

I would also go to EPL games more if I could afford it & my schedule allowed. I am abroad most weeks & can pretty much watch any game I want. It’s crazy I can’t here.

@FBAwayDays I can watch all EPL games when I am abroad, which I am nearly every week, and I can watch all NFL games in the U.K. it’s so backwards I can’t watch my football team week in week out on my own tv.

@FBAwayDays 100% they should all be aired. I can’t imagine it would affect game attendance. If I lived closer to London, had more money, and also didn’t work shifts I would go to more games. I try and see my local team if I can, games being on tv doesn’t affect any of that.

@Silverbackjj @MoArsenal86 Also for the on pitch to be overturned I think it should have to be a clear and obvious mistake from the ref/linesman’s position. That’s not clear and obvious. Six inches or more is clear and obvious. And who can prove the ball left the head at that exact second.

@Silverbackjj @MoArsenal86 Because the rule currently means it had to be disallowed. But yeah the current rule and VAR system is massively flawed.

Should be air between players as that’s a real advantage gained. Offside was brought in to stop goal hanging.

@plantainpariah @MoArsenal86 Maybe, maybe. It’s so small I can’t see it making a difference. The decision is correct. The rules is wrong. I think it also needs to be a lot more clearer to overturn an on pitch decision.

@WengerBall02 @MoArsenal86 Also he scored with his head, his foot was offside. Same happened to Son against Chelsea. Scored with his foot but his shoulder was an inch offside. Made no diffence to the goal.

I agree off is off. That way I said the offside system sucks. Not that the decision was wrong.

@WengerBall02 @MoArsenal86 But there needs to be some common sense. Wenger is right in that there should be air between the players for it to be off. A lot more clear, and that sort of distance in front of a player would gain significant advantage, warranting the offside call.
