My turn: Academia and I are undergoing a conscious uncoupling. I gave Academia most of my twenties, until I learned that it didn’t love me back. Due to these irreconcilable differences, I am moving on to a new position as an image analyst in mid-May!
Above all else, I will continue to re-work my experiments and hypotheses about life and what is important to me. In the meantime, keep a look out for new software coming soon from my post-doc for MERFISH data visualization!
If you even have an inkling you'd enjoy this course, DO IT!!! Easily the most valuable 2 weeks of my life, and it completely transformed my research and career path.
