@SirCookieBuggy@APH00PS@KevinOConnor Take it from a Louisville fan, he was never injured.
Played just enough to show some good highlights against bad teams (uk, NC State, SMU), but he was exposed against Duke and Clemson, so his dad shut him down.
Has all-world talent, but no heart.
@BKNRoss He’s a big project. Can’t risk that for the number 6 pick. It’s already bad that we ranked all season for the #6 pick but taking ament would be demoralizing
@BillyReinhardt@NetsDaily I like Acuff for us but wouldn’t mind wagler either. The MBJ fans will not talk about deficiencies with his game. They just like that he’s 6’5 and athletic
@brooklynnets85 Mikel just shot 41 percent, while having turnover issues, not having a midrange game and coming off an injured back. How is that star potential?
@snipafr@hysunsk Idk why. I never liked his game from the beginning. He can’t shoot off the dribble. He’s fast but gets to the paint and goes up recklessly. He’s not athletic and he’s small on top of all of that
SOURCE: The Brooklyn #Nets’ interest in Nate Ament at No. 6 appears to be gaining legitimate traction.
One league source described Ament as a “polarizing player,” though also someone who could be an ideal fit alongside Egor Demin due to the duo’s combination of size and shooting ability.
A few weeks ago, a source described Ament as a “dark horse” option for Brooklyn at No. 6.
Since then, league buzz surrounding the possibility has only continued to grow, making him a name worth monitoring as the draft approaches.
@Os91413Jon@JfromBk Easily too and bring that excitement back in the building but instead theres fans who want a guy that’s inconsistent with a messed up back
