Eternal Terminal is now part of homebrew-core! No need to install any taps to get et!
Now if someone (anyone??) can get us into debian core, that would be great. That's the last domino to fall :-D
After a week of using openclaw, here's my take:
1. Remote-claude-code is a killer app. You could do the same with a mobile ssh client and exposing your ssh port, but that's dangerous and the UX is trash. Being able to message Claude code on discord and get an answer is huge.
3. I'm not running any skills, instead I just tell openclaw where the code is on my computer and what to do with it. This works well enough that I see no need to go down the skills rabbit hole.
2. Cron is huge. Getting results (in my case, marketing material for the store) every day is a game changer. I deleted a lot of fake calendar meetings that were reminders to do things daily/weekly.
Howdy all!!
In today's episode of Programming Throwdown, we cover joining the dark side, a.k.a. becoming a manager. We go over what a line manager (a manager who directly manages engineers) actually does and what the responsibilities are.
