@RawashdehArab@davidnnaumann Was there any push back / concern about doing all the checks first thing in the morning? Rather than in staccato series fashion throughout the day?
@adi_kumar1 An obstetric reg once told me when I was a new obstetric SHO many years ago: “if you’re not asking me questions, then you’re not doing your job properly.” It’s never left me!
@Jopo_dr Interesting - I’ve thought about them more as brain cells being ectoderm and the immune cells being mesoderm. Endocrine / axon terminals to me are just fancy forms of paracrine signalling!
@adi_kumar1 More in relation to self-development - I saw a reference to navy seals in one of your tweets! It’s a very inspiring documentary looking at profound physical and mental development and overcoming / avoiding self-defeatist thoughts and behaviours.
The fragility of life is so shocking. I’ve known Michael Mosley for many years - as a tv producer specialising in science and medicine. He was the executive producer of my 2009 series Human Journey. When he started presenting as well as producing, we made several science programmes together. And we met up at Hay Festival just 2 weeks ago. I can’t believe he’s gone.
My thoughts are with his bereaved family.
