@Katapetasma2 But what about 'neither jew nor greek' ? Paul do make differentiations between jews and gentiles, So I thought it mostly about is beginning to happen (the resurrection)
@Katapetasma2 Even in places like romans 8:26-27 you thinks its christ ? Tho I would agree most mention of spirit is ascribed to him. What about ephesians and deutero-pauline texts ?
@Katapetasma2 Well the idea that 'Holy spirit is a fluid that fills the human body with God's energy', I can see this idea in multiple places but I doubt paul for example only had this understanding of it
@Katapetasma2 I have trouble picturing it as agency tbh. With the fact that jesus is the messiah (davidic king), it makes sense to say that God rules through him for example. But what would it mean for God to marry israël through jesus ?
@Katapetasma2 would you agree with fletcher louis interpretation of 'something to be grasped' ? Also what do you think of his book about the hymn more broadly, iirc he finds platonic motigs in there
@MateyYanakiev@blessedmikko@ruckusofantioch The Testament of Reuben makes clear that the “sons of god” (here called “Watchers”) “were *transformed into human males*” and appeared to women married (5:5–6).
@Katapetasma2 Do you think this is what paul is talking about when speaking of justification/righteoussness from faith ? Matthew Novenson says something of the like
