@fimiletoks As someone who owns Firman 6.7kva Gen and uses it actively everyday for 8hrs a day.

I replace my Gen every 18months. The old one is still in alternating use. The last time I bought Gen was 16th Dec, 2023 at N670k.

I don’t use Fuel, I use gas. It’s cheaper.

I change Gas carburettor every 6 months at 20k per one.

I do oil change every month 3k oil and 2k workmanship.

The reason I change Gen every 18 months is to avoid too much servicing and mechanic cost. Besides the efficiency.

@fimiletoks 12.5kg of gas gives me 12hrs of light. Presently buying at over 16k.

I own 4 12.5kg cylinders.

I fill them up weekly at almost 70k a week. I try to manage some days and reduce to 6hrs of usage.

I have tried fuel and the result was more cost. 10 litres for 4hrs.
