In hearings today, prosecutors tried to argue that protesters were guilty of terrorism simply because they were "part of a group". They're trying to claim that being at a protest against Cop City is a crime - that it makes protesters members of a criminal organization. [thread]
One of the main features of living in a carceral state is through the deployment of regular people as Cops. Focusing solely on removing the police from “mental health crisis situations” or abolishing police forces isn’t even enough. We need to decarcerate *ourselves.*
Another person I know has Covid, surprised how bad they feel. They asked where to get monoclonal antibodies, thought Paxlovid was OTC, were surprised they got sick because they "thought Covid was over" and "had a booster."
