Alright then, who are we going to be seeing at @AGU?
Already looking forward to #NextGen crew members @TheEnergyCraig and @JulieKLundquist 's session on
Overcoming Disconnects Between Energy System and Climate Modeling https://t.co/ugR5wjDyeL
Fantastic start to my AGU this morning kicking off the multi-sector dynamics session :)
I'm here all week to chat if you missed the talk, or just want to find out more.
Also, it's not a @Nextgen_EC talk until the data truck comes out!
For all those working in #EnergyMet a good opportunity to have in-depth discussions with peers & discuss the latest state of research. Hope to see you all there! This could be of interest for @Nextgen_EC
How is #extremeweather impacting our #energysystems? We see more and more innovative solutions to limit and manage this impact. Curious? Please also join our LinkedIn group "#RenewableEnergy and Cleantech Innovations":

A group called Next Generation Challenges in Energy-Climate Modelling, recognized the importance of both educating stakeholders and making climate modeling data more accessible to everyone who needs to use them 😍😍😍
Are you interested to talk to others about data/coding/papers/jobs in Energy Meteorology? #NextGenEC has a slack for just this!
DM us for the link if you're not already on there :)
Wonderful interaction today at the #NextGenEC22 Workshop. Particularly enjoyed the infrastructure resilience conversations hosted by @HCBloomfield19
and @MattDeakin6. Great work @Nextgen_EC team for hosting!
Discussion day is coming to a close with our final plenary. Overwhelmingly positive feedback coming through from the meeting and lots of fun science to continue ready for next year!
Hope you all had a great time - we all did!
Great to join the @Nextgen_EC poster session with our *recent accepted* paper!
We found that over #Kenya El Nino years may lead to both low wind & low solar generation during OND.
Should be online soon!
Also remembering how much I enjoy https://t.co/XUbSgayxHk poster sessions!
Finally @LaurentDubus and @laurens_stoop explain the exciting new developments for the PECD v4!
Sounds like a great resource for everyone in European energy-met.
#NextGenEC22 Research day is kicking off now!
At this amazing event we'll be seeing some presentations of state of the art current research, and importantly thinking 'What is next?'
@thruggles@JackieADowling A great perspective from @matteodefelice on how seasonal forecasts could be used within policy making. Great graphic here on some of the energy impacts Europe felt during the 2018 heatwave. Lots of work to do on data availability and presentation to users.
Now @matteodefelice presents on one of our #NextGenEC mantras!
'single year [power system] simulations can be limited - especially in systems with large shares of renewables!'
