I met Gord once in my life. I helped him carry his kids' bikes down the stairs from the bridge at Riverdale park to the Don Trail. We didn't talk about who he was. I just told him "Thanks".

The Hansens haven't owned the bakery for at least 5 years now, likely longer. They were still baking there at all hours in their 70s, so they retired and sold the business to a new owner some years back.

But up til that point, the bakery was legendary ♥
