Proud to be at @uihealthcare Stead Family Children’s Hospital today to sign legislation establishing an annual $3M investment in pediatric cancer research.
Thank you to the families who advocated tirelessly and to the legislature for their commitment to Iowa’s children and combatting cancer in all its forms.

For far too long, rural Iowa has been ignored. As Governor, I will stop sending economic development dollars to multinational corporations and bring real investment back to our small towns and rural communities.
Congratulations to all University of Iowa graduates! The class of 2026 includes 106 student athletes, whose hard work and commitment made Hawkeye Nation proud. The future is bright. 🖤💛
Respectfully, this reflects a misunderstanding of how agriculture actually works. American farmers compete in global markets every day- demand, trade, and energy policy all play a role. It’s not as simple as “surplus grain.” You should come visit American corn farmers & learn more. Are you up for it?
Chinese propaganda outlets are attacking U.S. data centers while Beijing races toward AI dominance. That’s not a coincidence, it’s strategy. Data centers are the backbone of American innovation and national security. Weakening them only helps China.
