I feel like this prompt was custom-made for an international education advocate and logophile like me ♥️ Will share with my students whose first language is not English and report back, but would love to hear from others like @hiberno_english too
As the Supreme Court hears debates about #studentloanforgiveness today, worth looking at some other ways students can save money on educational (and recreational) purchases. Higher Education should be affordable for everyone.
A valid .edu email address can help you save on plenty of academic necessities, with a little leftover for binge-watching or cheap food delivery. We’ve rounded up our favorite student discounts. https://t.co/jsjoq6QsXm
Excellent thread on how to thoughtfully integrate #ChatGPT into the classroom. AI and technology will keep evolving; we need to adapt and work with it.
Transparency with our students in #highered will build trust and benefit learning.
#HappyStPatricksDay to all the Irish (and Irish supporters) celebrating around the world!
See below for a glimpse into all the smaller festivities outside the big city, featuring my husband’s hometown, Carrick-on-Shannon. Hope to get back soon—Sláinte!
In the North West, the #StPatricksDay parade in Carrick-on-Shannon was led by newly-arrived refugees from Ukraine who are now living in the town while the Sligo parade kickstarted a three-day St Patrick's Festival in the town | https://t.co/LM9SLA5myA
Shocked and devastated at the news of the big game on Sunday. I look forward to it all year. Was so excited at the cross-promotion opportunities with the Bengals. Our Peyton’s face when he also found out there was no #KittenBowl this year says it all.
When you file to run for office in Indiana, you're allowed to include a nickname that will appear on the ballot. Here's a thread of my favorite nicknames that will be on a ballot near you in 2022. 1/

@BanderaMadi@IUAnnika Wonderful to hear poetry helped you begin processing that grief. I know I would not have made it through the last two years without great literature, music, and bingeworthy shows. We do need art now more than ever.
@laney_peacock Important to keep up the fight on #HB1134! Good teachers don't tell students what to believe, but helping them become critical thinkers by exposing them to multiple viewpoints is our job. Learning can be uncomfortable, but fosters growth.
@lilyschnaak@IUAnnika I love that this generation seems so much more open to discussing mental health. Any ideas for how professors or the University can help support students' mental health right now?
All my fellow 19th century #BritLit nerds can download the full translation of the #Dickens letter here: https://t.co/dYX5ryYBkU Fair warning, it's more business-oriented, but still interesting. 2/2
The ideal confluence of literature and technology creating new knowledge. I haven't been this excited since the meeting of the minds that produced Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. 1/2

Love the relatable agony of writing the perfect professional email 🤣 Pro tip from experience: Draft in Word to avoid the dreaded accidental "reply all"! And take comfort that we've all been there.
@CDevlo Of course! Looks like you focus on the vowels and most- used letters like me. First word: STARE (always get at least one hit on this one), others BUILD, BOING. I play "hard" mode so varies after that.
Was too busy moving classes online (and being a useless baker) to get into the sourdough starter craze, but I'm all in on Wordle! 19 days: fully addicted and undefeated. Any other #wordle fans want to swap strategies?
