Depression for me wasn’t crying in bed all day, it was going to work, being with with my loved ones, living my everyday life—smilin and laughin, a lot of distractions. It wasn’t until I was alone with my thoughts, it creeped up. Those times I feared, they were the most dangerous.
I like spontaneous people so much. I just want people around me who view the world and their existence as a big adventure. We have so much to see and so many places to go and I don’t wanna be playing catch up in my 50s.
in my 20’s I’ve learnt that when people know they’ve sabotaged chances to have a healthy connection with you and don’t possess the maturity or humility to repair it, you’ll be painted as the problem to others because they can’t admit their faults. and you have to let them do that
