I used to think a good round meant flushing everything.
After years of trial and error, I promise you, it doesn't
It means:
• Your drives stayed in play
• Misses were manageable
• No insane "hero" shots
Basically…you avoided your blow-ups.
Here's a few quick tips I wish I knew sooner to make better rounds "the norm": https://t.co/sD5fdwurPW
It takes 21 days to start a habit.
12 weeks to find a groove.
6 months to lock it down.
1 year to make it part of your lifestyle.
2+ years to make it a part of your identity.
When you set a habit these are your milestones.

Character is not formed out of smart people: it is formed out of people who have suffered.”

A little controversy after "someone prominent" said that the FIRST THING THAT MOVES in the golf swing is the clubhead. Here is exhibit A in my retort. The clubhead stays in the box and he moves his body before the clubhead goes back.
I know @McLeanGolf will like this. 😉
Replacing your wedges every 75 rounds seems ridiculous.
Until you look at the data.
We knew @titleist had been making this claim for too long, for us to have not tested it
Here's the cold hard truth: https://t.co/60R52dlzrG
After 10+ hours of watching golf swings on a plane I think I’ve decided that this might have been the best golf swing ever recorded, let alone the best version of Tiger Woods. Anyone disagree?
We believe golf is a PROBLEM SOLVING ACTIVITY.
When you practice if you're not going through that process of problem solving you're missing a big part of what golf is all about. #golfmindset#practicesmarter
If you rely strictly on your results to dictate your momentum and how you feel about your game, you will be stuck on a rollercoaster of emotions.
We need to find ways to create our own momentum.
Feeling good about the work we're putting in, how committed we are to shots, our attitude.
Golf is an exercise in problem solving that never ends.
You will never figure it out.
That can be awesome for some, or a total nightmare for others.
You gotta pick your side 🤪🤷♂️
The way I look at buying new golf equipment is simple.
If you’re buying something to help your game or try and lower your score, I don’t believe you should spend a dollar unless it improves on what you (already) own.
Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change. If we are not willing to change, we can’t expect life to change either. Change nothing and nothing changes.
A minimum of 85% of what you feel, think, do is predetermined by your subconscious (your internal hard drive of past/future).This is your baseline on-course chatter=your defacto (real) caddy. Isn’t it obvious if you have a negative caddy you will play poorly? #youareyourcaddy
Most of the shots you hit are not the reflection of your skill - but of the noise in your head at the time of shot, most of which is your repository of most recent similar poor shot.
