@NickPollman & I had the opportunity to do our tiny bit thanks to @srini091 who's been working relentlessly to distribute food/care packages to migrant workers on their long journey back home. Head over to his IG/ Twitter page to contribute or be inspired https://t.co/ekfSdjLyls
Allowing ourselves to take a moment to acknowledge privilege as we desperately ramp up alternate working solutions - extend your benefits, leverage your privilege.
@lisitadee@AISChennai Best tool in the class! Let me send you the doc and Neeraja can help you print, laminate, and cut and def let me know how it changes your class!
Every student gets only 2 tickets per class which pushes the Ss who share/answer a lot to use their voice wisely allowing everyone a chance to speak. A clear spike in classroom energy & quality of engagement FTW! @AISChennai

Sharing here the great work that my colleagues and I created inspired by @TanELLclassroom Each student who took the WIDA test got an individualised profile tailored to their language needs which was sent to all teachers. @amykburchett@AISChennai@sarahsahr
@DigitalNomadRob @TanELLclassroom @amykburchett@AISChennai@sarahsahr Thanks man! These took way too much time but if anything it helped my own understanding of how to help different kids at different language proficiencies
Learned about interactive learning objectives & finally got around to trying it out in class. Kids loved the puzzle and they cheered each other on - an attempt to involve Ss & get them to pay attention to what they will learn! @AISChennai
Gratitude circle: Ss choose a photo on their phones to share a thing/person/experience that they are grateful for. A quick inclusion activity that helps us pause and practice gratitude @AISChennai
