Long Now first partnered with @ArchMission in 02018 to contribute our long-term records of world languages to their Lunar Library mission, which aimed to create a long-lasting offworld archive of human knowledge.

WE LANDED ON THE MOON!
Tonight I am reflecting on the incredible privilege it’s been to attempt 3 moon landings in 5 years — the most ever outside a nation state. Feeling grateful to play a small part in the United States return to the moon since 1972.
I co-founded @archmission to preserve human knowledge, art, and culture for future generations. Together with an incredible team, we’ve completed 10 archival missions across the solar system.
From our inaugural @SpaceX mission with @elonmusk putting a data crystal inside the glovebox of his Cherry Red Tesla Roadster, to sending the first commercial payload to the lunar surface with SpaceIL, and now, as part of @Int_Machines Nova-C mission with @NASA, we can now say we have a billion-year backup on Moon.
Grateful to the our content providers like @Wikipedia , @internetarchive, @SETIInstitute, and @longnow, to my collaborators on the team @novaspivack, @Nick_Slavin, and @62MileClub, and to friends like @marylizbender who I met along this journey.
We’ve sent messages to the far distant future. We hope it is met with profound curiosity and love.
Signing off for now to build something beautiful 𖡼

I'm excited to share that Fuzionaire Diagnostics has changed its name to Fuzionaire Theranostics, which reflects our developing theranostic pipeline in oncology beginning with GRPR-positive prostate cancer. https://t.co/6zxj9XluQm
New work from Fuzionaire’s collaborators at ETH Zürich, Alexey Fedorov and Fei Chang, shows production of benzene via the hydrodemethylation of toluene can occur at much lower temps, requiring less energy, using catalytic amounts of potassium hydride. https://t.co/oPyLTJOkrP
The future of pharmaceuticals has silicon in it! Check out the latest news from @fuzionaire, in collaboration with @mcgillchemistry professor Jean-Philip Lumb https://t.co/FQ4w8QV7DK
Congrats to Fuzionaire’s collaborators at ETH Zürich, Alexey Fedorov and Fei Chang, on new low-temperature desulfurization results using earth-abundant materials, which could help pave the way for a future with sulfur-free fuels.

Robert H. Grubbs, a Nobel-winning “green” chemist, helped perfect the manufacturing of compounds that are now used in everything from plastics to pharmaceuticals. He has died at 79. https://t.co/ITh70EFXMj
Just so pleased!

The returns to additional education for entrepreneurs is actually higher than for non-entrepreneurs. This study finds that each year of school is associated with a 9.1% income increase for founders but only a 6.4% increase for employees. The gap is the same in the US & Australia.
At Fuzionaire we've long identified fuel desulfurization as a key use case of our new chemistry and our collaboration with ETH Zurich to scale our desulfurization tech is an important step forward. https://t.co/XM42JGAkjq
Congratulations @OSorenson on this exciting new chapter, and thanks for your friendship, mentorship, and support over the years. The @uclaanderson community is lucky to have you!
First official day on the faculty at @uclaanderson. Although I will miss the @YaleSOM community, I am looking forward to working with and learning from new colleagues and to engaging with the vibrant community of entrepreneurs in LA.
On our @archmission work to ensure that with distributed data repositories in the solar system, humanity has an apocalypse-level disaster recovery plan. @novaspivack@computerweekly https://t.co/SCSGu5qmu3
Fantastic news. Dr. Eric Edwards, Dr. Frank Gupton, and the Phlow team (a public benefit corporation) are doing critical work to prevent major shortages of essential generic drugs in the US. They've been working round the clock for weeks. https://t.co/Crr4RGAkI4

Fuzionaire tech has the potential to address the problems described in this SciAm article, from reducing particulate air pollution to improving imaging (PET) and treatment of neurodegenerative disorders and cancers.
