I am embarrassed for the superintendent. He is a public figure and should stop trying to use legal threats to stop @SandeeCVUSD from asking questions. His accusations have been debunked and are irrelevant anyway. Public figures have no way to stop criticism.

Regardless, for many years, CSF signed the agreement to abide by AB 1575, then proceeded to break it with impunity. The illegal fees, by law, must be returned.

My understanding is that the opinion was paid for by CVUSD and done by the district's own hired attorney, not the Ventura County District Attorney. Doesn't even address AB 1575 which is the primary issue.

@kpg1nine This is a very deceptive tweet. Consultation was with school district's attorney NOT the VC District Attorney. Amazing that you would stoop to this level of dishonesty. Also, this opinion from a regular lawyer avoids the main legal issue, which is violation of AB 1575.
