We are supposedly at war to stop Iran from enriching the uranium we “obliterated” over a year ago.

Yesterday we signed a deal to help Saudi Arabia enrich uranium.

The first time the United States has ever helped another country enrich uranium on foreign soil.

The Saudis refused the inspection protocol 140 other countries accept. Too intrusive, they said.

Trump agreed. He signed a national security waiver to get around the rule.

The Saudis paid Kushner $100 million. They put $2 billion into his firm. They put another $6 billion into LIV Golf, which pays Trump properties to host its tournaments. They signed ten billion dollars in Trump-branded real estate deals in Jeddah and Riyadh. All in just the last few years.

Allan Brunon n’est pas un élu, c’est le symptôme dégénéré d’une gauche devenue secte : autoritaire, haineuse, moralisatrice et surtout grotesque.

European governments should make future financial support conditional on Zelensky reversing the dismissal of 35-year-old Mykhailo Fedorov, perhaps the closest thing to a modern-day Heinz Guderian.

Why? Because European taxpayers are financing a substantial share of Ukraine’s war effort and have a legitimate interest in ensuring that Ukraine is led as effectively as possible and ultimately wins this godforsaken war.

Ukraine cannot match Russia in manpower, industrial capacity or resources. Its long-term success depends on innovation, rapid adaptation and technological superiority.

That requires brilliant minds who challenge conventional military thinking and integrate private-sector innovation and speed into warfare.

History occasionally produces them. In the 1930s, Heinz Guderian recognised that the Wehrmacht could not win through attrition against larger powers such as France or the Soviet Union.

His answer was not “more and bigger”, but a radically different way of fighting: fast-moving armoured formations, Feuer und Bewegung (fire and movement), radio communications and decentralised command.

Blitzkrieg was born. France fell and Guderian achieved what millions of German soldiers & officers could not during 4 years of World War 1 within weeks. Just mind blowing.

Fedorov has pursued the same strategic logic. Faced with overwhelming Russian advantages in manpower (gun fodder), artillery and industrial capacity, he championed cheap drones, autonomous systems, mass production (Ukraine may build 5 million this year alone; for comparison, the US military is procuring just 50,000) and rapid private-sector innovation to create asymmetric advantages at a fraction of the cost.

And it works. Over the past six months, Fedorov has been a central figure in demonstrating how 21st-century unmanned warfare can be fought in practice and at scale. He didn’t just adapt to the battlefield. He helped redefine it. Read my latest Substack on Russia’s refineries if you have any doubts.

Talents of this calibre are exceptionally rare. I would argue they emerge only in wartime. Peacetime bureaucracies do not produce them. Fedorov was a young media-tech entrepreneur with no military pedigree. Can you imagine how an old-serving general reacts? Brutally.

What former Soviet one-trick ponies who mistake bad habits for “experience” will never understand is what a rare, beautiful brain with extraordinary execution can achieve in an astonishingly short period of time. Ordinary people cannot do extraordinary things by definition.

Instead, they see innovation as a threat to their power, their resources and their status. By definition, transformative minds are hated by the guardians of the old order. Machiavelli explained this centuries ago. Palace revolutions over power have repeated the pattern ever since. The old guard always resents the colourful young bird.

The thing is, I couldn’t care less about the general and his feelings. Nor should you. I care about Ukraine winning. Full stop.

The fact is that neither Ukraine nor any other nation can afford to lose a strategic asset like this because of Machiavellian power games or Soviet-style military thinking. Innovators are not interchangeable. Conventional generals are.

Europe possesses more leverage than anyone else. It should use it wisely for once and “encourage” decisions that maximise Ukraine’s chances of victory.

It’s all about leadership. Adapt or die.
