Problems happen, I get it, but then you need to over communicate. Say sorry.. don't flog upgrades.

It's a while since I used an Intercity train but @AvantiWestCoast if the EUS:BHI 'service' I've just endured is the norm for you, then hang your heads in shame.

Seat Res'ns cancelled. Dangerously overcrowded. Oppressive hot. No assistance at stations. No apologies. Shocking.

And the only announcement was the 'opportunity' to pay you an extra £24 to upgrade a seat you no longer had.
