Increasing sexual frequency in a regular relationship from once a month to once a week delivers a happiness boost equivalent to the happiness gain from a roughly $50,000 annual salary raise.

More sex = monotonically higher happiness: The effect got larger with frequency. Sex 2–3 times a month, weekly, 2–3 times a week, and 4+ times a week all showed positive associations relative to no sex or very rare sex. Having sex at least 4 times a week was linked to a happiness increase roughly half the size of the marriage effect on happiness.

The happiness-maximizing number of sexual partners in the previous year was calculated as one. Zero partners or multiple partners both correlated with LOWER happiness than monogamous frequency with a single partner.

Money does not buy more sex or more partners. Higher family income had essentially zero correlation with sexual frequency or number of partners. Rich and poor Americans reported very similar sex lives. (This was one of the findings that surprised the researchers.)

Married people had significantly more sex than single, divorced, widowed, or separated people. Roughly 90% of married respondents reported exactly one partner in the past year. Marriage itself had one of the LARGEST positive coefficients in the happiness equations.

Typical American frequency was modest. The median person had sex 2–3 times a month. About 25% reported no sex in the previous year (higher among older women). Only about 7% reported 4+ times a week.

Paying for sex or having extramarital sex was associated with LOWER happiness. Homosexuality had no statistically significant effect on happiness in their equations. Highly educated women tended to have fewer partners.

In a time of declining marriage rates, falling sexual frequency among young adults, rising loneliness, and cultural messaging that endless novelty and “options” are the path to fulfillment, the data points the other way. The people reporting the HIGHEST happiness were disproportionately those having consistent sex with exactly one partner.

Becoming a man often means realizing no one gives a fuck about you

Vulnerable boys and young men—in the middle of mental health crises—are routinely groomed from platforms like Twitch and YouTube into long-term paid parasocial sexual relationships and intentionally funneled over to sites like Fansly and OnlyFans, where this exploitation is normalized and even framed as empowerment

Society teaches boys from day one that they are “toxic,” that “all men” are the problem, and that their feelings don’t matter. When men open up about their struggles, it’s often weaponized against them. They’re conditioned to suppress emotions, provide no matter what, apologize even when abused, and accept that their problems are always their fault

There’s almost no institutional support for men. Canada’s only dedicated shelter for male victims of domestic violence was forced to shut down, and its founder later took his own life due to the abuse. Journalist Norah Vincent lived as a man for over a year to document the experience—and later ended her own life, citing the brutal emotional toll

Men are constantly scrutinized, blamed, and told their suffering doesn’t count

I’m just personally so fucking sick of everyone pretending this is all just “normal hardship.” It’s not. Boys are literally resorting to AI girlfriends to get a tiny bit of care and affection. And every time these issues get brought up, it’s immediately twisted into “but what about women?” or “Women have it hard too.”

Men make up ~80% of suicides. By almost every metric, men are suffering in ways the vast majority of women will never fully understand. I’m tired of the constant deflection and the idea that men’s pain only matters if we can tie it back to how it affects women

What's included in this report is fucking harrowing:

- Girls were set on fire.
- Girls were sent to “red rooms” to be tortured, some of them killed, some of it livestreamed.
- One girl was raped by a dog while men bet on whether it would vaginally or anally rape her.
- Girls were forced to have abortions with knitting needles.
- Glass bottles, keys, baseball bats, and other objects were forced inside them, some shattering.
- Girls were gang-raped by dozens of men at a time in “party houses.”
- Girls were whipped, hung upside down, suffocated, and urinated on.
- Girls as young as 5 or 6 were tied up and abused.
- Girls were locked in dog cages.

- Girls were threatened with being killed and fed to pigs.
- Girls were mocked for wearing a crucifix during the rapes.

All of this was carried out by predominantly South Asian, Pakistani men, with smaller numbers from Somali, Iranian, Syrian, Turkish, Bangladeshi, and Iraqi men.

And yet perpetrators were let off, authorities turned a blind eye, and it continues to this day because people are scared of being called racist.

Anyone who covered for this needs to face the death penalty alongside all of those who hurt these girls.
