A jaw-dropping free dance from #LaurenceFournierBeaudry and @NikSorensen.
And a display of power, speed, originality - and trust in themselves.
And we trust they'll reach the World podium soon - that good they are, that impressive.

#Montreal2020 announcement: Ice dancers Laurence Fournier Beaudry & Nikolaj Sorensen have withdrawn from the world championships due to Nikolaj recovering from surgery. To replace, Carolane Soucisse & Shane Firus, Canadian bronze medallists will join Team Canada in Montreal.

And their twizzles to music, to lyrics? Perfect match.

@goldenskate@SWEOlympic@majorov3 What terrible news. We work a lifetime to realize our dreams, and then Olympic committees make decisions such as this one. It saddens my heart.
@skatingmusicguy I have to give my partner all the credit. She cuts all our music and will never marry two pieces if the sound and transitions aren't fluid and seemless. We do use Hugo however for finals mixes and sound balancing. He is always a big help. But Laurence truly has a musical gift
