Today, something astonishing has occurred in Cornwall!

The @CBWPS1 has announced today that at Par, Spit beach, 6 Eider (2f 4m) including a female with three ducklings has been photographed.

This constitutes the first breeding record of this species in Cornwall. How amazing is that!

@clennonvalley Which highlights exactly how hard it is to manage unregulated activities undertaken by the general public. It's sad to hear that nearly 40 years on, disturbance of this kind is still an issue, pity it's always the 10% who spoil it for everyone else.
