The house just passed the $70 billion immigration enforcement package and Trump just signed. It provides for a $5B technology fund for, among other things, surveillance towers with thermal infrared imaging and laser range finding. Great news for $LPTH who supplies the IR cameras
@BussinBiotech DoW would not supply funding if they did not intend to purchase significant strategic product. It sounds like LPTH is building stronger and stronger ties with the military. Sam’s comment about eventually becoming a prime contractor vs. sub prime was interesting.
@BussinBiotech “And we are working, it is very early stage, but we are working with different parts of the government, Office of Strategic Capital and so on to secure some of that. It will not be in the near future, but it’s definitely something we are looking at for next fiscal year”.
@NishantChandra2@aleabitoreddit CLFD customers Brightspeed, Frontier, Lumen and Ziply Fiber all in the process of converting legacy central office space into edge compute/colocation facilities to monetize the sq. footage (Ziply alone has 200 DC’s on their roadmap) plus the cable CO’s. Nova platform=no brainer
